What this show is
A new episode every week.
Long conversations
Most shows give a guest eight minutes. This one gives them the time it takes. When a conversation is good, it keeps going, and you hear all of it.
No script
There is a topic and a pot of coffee. Nobody reads from a page, and if we don’t know something we say so.
Listen or watch
Every episode is recorded on three cameras and released as audio and as video. Put it on in the truck, at the longarm or on the big screen.
What we get into
- Machines and repairWhat goes wrong inside a sewing machine, what it costs to fix, and what you can handle yourself.

- Makers and their storiesQuilters, sewists, designers and technicians, in their own words and at their own pace.
- Quilts of ValorThe volunteers who make the quilts, the veterans who receive them, and the days they meet.
- Whatever comes upSome weeks it is a guest across the table. Some weeks it is Michael and a topic that needs talking about.
